PREGNANCY BEAUTY MUST-HAVES FOR THE MAMA-TO-BE. Since becoming pregnant last June, I’ve become a lot more conscious of my beauty habits, as well as add a few new ones. While there’s still a debate on the impact of chemicals on fetal health and development, I’ve decided to stop using any products containing ingredients that could raise pregnancy-related concerns for now. Here’s a couple of my pregnancy-approved beauty products: Leachco Snoogle Total Body Pillow: I really didn’t think I needed this – a lot of my friends use 2-3 bigger pillows and build it around them – but, the husband insisted that I NEED this because I move around a lot when I sleep. When you get bigger it’s recommended that you sleep on your side because sleeping on your back for an extended period of time could interfere with the flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and your developing baby. Since getting this, I’ve been sleeping with it every night, literally every night! My go-to for stretch mark prevention includes a couple different products I use in rotation. I’ve been told that stretch marks are genetic, but I’ve been moisturizing and hydrating as much as I can! I rotate the Mama Mio Tummy Rub Oil, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, and use liquid vitamin E oil in rotation. I moisturize twice a day, once in the mornings and once in the evenings to keep my belly nourished and supple.
