Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year has been amazing. So many things have changed since last Thanksgiving. James and I found out we were having a baby, we moved to a new place, we started a new business, celebrated our third year of marriage and I gave birth to our baby girl. Taking a moment this morning to reflect all the blessings in my life and I couldn’t be more grateful.
This year is the year we started our family, the year we balanced pregnancy, birth and the beginnings of a new business. This is the first year I had to balance motherhood, work, friendships and marriage – it’s not easy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have so much to be thankful for this year:
A home, food and clothing to wear – it’s the simple things in life that sometimes get overlooked but I think of the people who can’t have these simple things and I am grateful. Good health – I am truly so grateful everyday that members in my family and friends are healthy. My heart goes out to those who will be spending time at the hospital today. Friendships – I have a small group of friends who I can call at any moment, who will eat, drink and laugh with me. James – I feel so lucky to have a husband who really is my best friend, my biggest supporter and an amazing father to our child. Our daughter, Chloe – she has taught me what it means to love and care for someone beyond what I thought was capable. I love her smell!
